FOUNDER & CO-OWNER

Heather Knittel

Being organized is a trait that comes easy to some. Others must devote time to learn it. Being highly organized comes naturally to Heather who started a career in health care, moved on to property management and worked for 16 years, in sales promotion and community relations in the broadcast industry. But long before she got a job, the youthful Heather was hard at work honing the skills that enabled her to become the High Priestess of professional organizing she is today. As a child, even her underwear was labelled- with the days of the week. She can even teach you how to fold fitted sheets! With talents like that, Professional Organizing was more than a career change. It was a calling. Heather’s nick-name is Rambo due to her love of a challenge and her gentle but firm methods with clients who swear by her.

CO-OWNER

Brittany Knittel

After a successful career in Home Staging and managing multiple business operations, Good Riddance welcomed Brittany as their Project Manager in 2015. Along with her home staging skills, she brought with her a decade of experience in space-planning and home design. But it was her career in Home Staging where she oversaw complex daily move-ins, that allowed her natural organizing and home design abilities the opportunity to truly shine. With this experience, Brittany has been able to carry forward what she’s learned and in turn has created structured systems and procedures to implement into every Good Riddance job. Her exemplary drafting and space-planning skills, acquired while taking Interior Design at BCIT, have been a boon for our clients. When downsizing to smaller spaces, Brittany is able to provide clients with functional floor-plans and works with clients to ensure they keep the items they treasure the most. Sharing her expertise in Home Staging with the Good Riddance team has resulted in faster sales for clients because of her ability to showcase each home’s selling features.
